Chasebaits Flacid Shad 3inch Soft Lure 7/Pack Blood Gold

3 inch | Soft Plastic

The Chasebaits Flacid Shad 3inch Soft Lure 7/Pack Blood Gold is a soft lure that should be judged by how naturally it moves at low speed, not by how flashy it looks on the shelf.

Soft plastics are useful because they keep working when fish are not willing to chase a hard lure.

You can rig them light, fish them slow, and keep them in the bite zone longer.

Use small hops, slow rolls, dead-sticks, twitches, or controlled drops depending on the body shape and jighead weight.

If the fish are active, a steady swim can imitate bait moving through the area.

If they are shut down, letting the plastic fall, pause, or crawl near structure often gets bites that fast lures miss.

At 3 inch | Soft Plastic, this is best around drains, pontoons, weed edges, reef patches, bridge shade, flats, and pressured areas where fish want something softer and more natural.

It is not as durable as a hard lure and may not be the best option around toothy fish unless you are prepared to replace bodies.

The brighter finish is there for visibility, not subtlety.

Use it when the water has stain, there is cloud cover, the lure is being worked through wash, or the fish need a stronger target to lock onto.

In very clear calm water it may be too loud, so a more natural baitfish colour would usually be the safer choice.

TARGET SPECIES: bream, flathead, snapper, sea bass, trevally, perch, mangrove jack, and other predators that feed on small baitfish, prawns, or soft prey.
