170mm | Floating | Jointed swimbait

The Duo Deprive Surface Jointed Swimbait 170mm 47g Floating Lure CHA0945 is a jointed swimbait made to look like a larger baitfish rather than a tiny reaction lure.

The segmented body is the important part: it creates a smoother swimming motion and gives following fish something believable to track.

A slow steady retrieve is often the best starting point because the jointed body needs water pressure to swim naturally.

Add pauses or half-turns of the reel when fish follow, but avoid ripping it so hard that the profile stops looking like a real baitfish.

It is best used around cover, weed lines, rock edges, ambush points, and clear lanes where fish have time to see the full profile.

Give it room to swim; tight, messy structure can kill the action or make it hard to land fish.

The finish sits on the natural baitfish side, so it makes the most sense in clear to lightly stained water, bright conditions, or whenever predators are already keyed in on real bait rather than pure reaction colour.

This is not a numbers lure for tiny bait situations.

It makes more sense when better fish are willing to follow a larger meal and you have space to work the jointed action properly.

TARGET SPECIES: bass, seabass, pike, snakehead, barramundi, and other predators willing to track a larger, jointed baitfish profile.
