Rapala CD Magnum Sinking Lure CDMAG22/SM

CDMAG22 | Sinking

The Rapala CD Magnum is a heavy-duty sinking Rapala minnow for anglers who need a stronger baitfish profile that can be trolled or retrieved through deeper, rougher, more powerful water.

It is not a finesse plug; the job is distance, depth control, and a hard baitfish presentation for better fish.

The sinking body lets you put the lure down into the lane before it starts working.

Troll it behind the boat, retrieve it along current lines, or count it down from shore when fish are sitting below surface activity.

Keep the retrieve clean and stable; this lure works best when it tracks like a fleeing baitfish rather than being over-twitched.

It is strongest around headlands, offshore structure, reef edges, river mouths, deep channels, and bait schools where predators are feeding on larger bait.

It is not the first choice for tiny-bait finesse bites or shallow snaggy water.

TARGET SPECIES: mackerel, tuna-class juveniles, wahoo, kingfish, trevally, barramundi, snapper, grouper, bluefish, and larger predators feeding on baitfish.
