250g | Sinking

The Shout 184-FL Metal Jig Flash 250 grams is a metal jig built for covering depth, current, and baitfish-feeding windows more efficiently than a soft bait or diving plug.

Its job is to reach the fish, flash through the water column, and create a reaction on the lift, fall, or retrieve.

Match the retrieve to fish mood: fast cranks and sharp lifts when predators are chasing, slower pitch-and-fall when they are holding deeper, and controlled drops when bites are coming on the fall.

The lure should change speed; a completely even retrieve often looks less vulnerable.

It is strongest around reefs, bait schools, current lines, rock ledges, and shore-casting lanes where predators are feeding on compact bait.

The limitation is subtlety: if fish are refusing metal, a soft bait or slower presentation may be needed.

The finish should be matched to visibility and light: natural silver or baitfish tones for clear water, stronger glow/gold/pink/contrast options for low light, stained water, deeper drops, or when fish need a clearer target during the fall.

TARGET SPECIES: amberjack, kingfish, trevally, snapper, grouper, mackerel, bonito, tuna-class juveniles, and offshore or shore predators feeding on baitfish.
