Zman Soft Lure Mag SwimZ 8 Inch 3/Pack Blue Back Herring

8 Inch | 3/Pack | Soft paddle-tail swimbait

The Mag SwimZ is a soft paddle-tail swimbait for covering water with a natural swimming action.

The tail beat is the main selling point: it gives the bait movement at slow to medium retrieve speeds, making it useful when fish are tracking baitfish but not reacting to hard plugs.

Rig it on a jig head for open water, a weighted swimbait hook for weed or shallow cover, or a heavier head when current or depth requires more control.

A steady retrieve is usually the best starting point, then add pauses, lifts, or slow rolls when fish are holding deeper.

It is strongest around flats, drains, weed edges, harbour walls, reef edges, and bait schools.

It is not as loud as a vibration bait, but when predators want something that looks and feels more edible, the soft swimbait profile is a better tool.

The Blue Back Herring finish should be chosen around water clarity and light.

Natural colours are better when fish can inspect the bait, while brighter or darker options help when visibility is poor or fish are reacting quickly.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flathead, snapper, trevally, barramundi, pike, bass, queenfish, and predators feeding on swimming baitfish.
